The Faculty of Medicine (FK) - Usakti Students participated in The Asian Medical Student Exchange Program
Five students of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) - Usakti (Ichtiwa Aruni Putri, Sahda Alfreda, Dian Maharani, Rania Dharma and Bianda Astari) with five students from the Faculty of Medicine of other university participated in the Asian Medical Student Exchange Program that held by Special Division of Student Executive Body (BEM) - AMSA (Asian Medical Student Association) of FK Usakti with Chang Gung.
The program lasted for 7 days, with the agenda of learning about the field of medicine in Taiwan, visiting Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, as well as to know the culture and country of Taiwan. Chang Gung University focuses on Chinese medicine and Western medicine. The delegates studied acupuncture, taught the physical examination (inspection, palpation, percussion) from the perspective of Chinese medicine.
The next agenda of Asian Medical Student Exchange Program will be held on August 16th
, 2019: the Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University will receive 10 students of the Faculty of Medicine from Chang Gung University, Taiwan for visiting the Faculty, Educational Hospitals and Community Health Clinic (puskesmas), Lecture and Clinical Skills (Workshop), as well as art and culture.
Hopefully the implementation of this program will strengthen the relationship between students of the Faculty of Medicine - Usakti and other Medical students in Asia.
